A bitter sweet ending to the 2020 Nürburgring Langstreke Series saw the final double header race weekend cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, however for David Pittard and the Walkenhorst Motorsport team, it meant that they were both crowned champions of the Nürburgring in the SP9 PRO and ROWE Speed Trophy championships!

Walkenhorst Motorsport went home disappointed after a super challenging weekend for the BMW Customer racing team.
The unique challenge of the Autumnal 24hrs meant cooler track conditions, longer hours of darkness and a completely different race to the race that the team won in 2018 in the middle of summer.

Walkenhorst Motorsport entered the postponed Nurburgring24hrs with high expectations given the pace that their rapid and experienced line up had shown so far in 2020.
