David Pittard and Walkenhorst Motorsport will return to the Nurburgring Lanstreke Series (NLS) championship for 2021 at the Nordschleife again with Total and Yokohama. The defending ROWE Speed trophy and SP9 Pro class champions will return with their Pro car line up Pittard, previous team mate Christian Krognes and graduating Walkenhorst BMW M4 GT4 driver and fellow brit Ben Tuck.
The team will contest all NLS races taking place at the Nurburgring Nordschelife including the Nurburgring 24hrs Qualifying race & the Nurburgring 24hrs, with their sights firmly set on the biggest prize the Nurburgring has to offer, the Nurburgring 24hrs!
“Firstly I want to say thank you to Henry and Walkenhorst for having me back again this year. I look forward to defending our 2020 SP9 PRO driver’s championship, ROWE Speed trophy and 2019 Nürburgring 24H qualifying race wins in 2021. Together with Total and Yokohama we have set pole positions, fastest laps, race wins, championship wins and won the N24hr qualification race – there is only 1 accomplishment left – to win the N24H! I’m very excited to be sharing with Christian again, the nicest guy off track and one of the fastest on track. I’m also excited to share with Ben Tuck. Ben’s development has been great to watch while he has driven for Walkenhorst and I’m sure he’ll be a great asset to the #34 car”
